Senior System Engineer - Linux & Apache

We are looking for a Senior System Engineer – Linux & Apache to operate and support our dWeb platform with a strong focus on web application stability and availability. In this role, you will manage critical Linux infrastructure, administer Apache HTTP Server and drive automation to ensure reliable production environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support the dWeb platform with a focus on web application stability and availability
• Perform administration of Apache HTTP Server, including configuration, tuning and troubleshooting
• Administer and maintain Unix/Linux servers supporting web applications
• Provide operational support and troubleshooting for MariaDB
• Implement and maintain automation using Ansible and other scripting tools
• Resolve incidents and perform advanced troubleshooting in line with ITSM processes

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience operating and supporting web platforms in production
• Strong background in Unix/Linux system administration
• Expertise in Apache HTTP Server administration, including configuration, tuning and troubleshooting
• Practical experience with MariaDB in an operational and administration context
• Skills in incident management and advanced troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Ansible and automation scripting
• Solid understanding of web application architectures and concepts

Nice to have

• Skills in scripting beyond Ansible such as Bash and Python
• Background in supporting legacy or non-modernized platforms
• Familiarity with enterprise ITSM environments
• Experience in large-scale or regulated organizations
