Senior Systems Administrator

Discussion

Build, secure, automate, and improve a growing Microsoft environment.

American Dental Companies is looking for a Senior Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator to take a hands-on role in the technology supporting our growing network of dental practices.

This is more than a traditional systems administration position. You'll work closely with IT leadership to strengthen our Microsoft environment, lead migrations, improve security and automation, establish scalable standards, and bring greater technical capability in-house.

What You'll Do

• Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Defender, and Windows environments.
• Lead Microsoft 365, email, office, and multi-location technology migrations.
• Manage endpoint configuration, compliance, Autopilot, Entra Join, and device standards through Intune.
• Strengthen identity and access using MFA, Conditional Access, SSO, RBAC, and least-privilege practices.
• Manage DNS and domain configuration, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Build PowerShell and Microsoft Graph automation to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
• Serve as a senior escalation point for complex Microsoft, identity, endpoint, cloud, and systems issues.
• Develop documentation, standards, and repeatable processes that make our environment easier to support and scale.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical depth with ownership and good judgment. You enjoy solving difficult problems, improving how systems work, and automating work that shouldn't be manual.

Qualified candidates will typically bring 5+ years of systems, cloud, or Microsoft 365 administration experience, with meaningful hands-on experience in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Intune, PowerShell, identity management, and endpoint administration.

Experience with Microsoft 365 migrations and distributed or multi-location organizations is strongly preferred. Microsoft certifications are welcomed, but real-world technical capability matters more than collecting credentials.

Benefits
American Dental Companies offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
  • Disability benefits
  • Other company-sponsored benefits

Eligibility and plan terms apply.

Why ADC

American Dental Companies is growing, and our technology environment is evolving with it. This role offers the opportunity to help shape how our systems are built, secured, automated, and scaled across a multi-location organization.

You'll have meaningful ownership, visibility with IT leadership, and the ability to make improvements that have a direct impact across the business.

We're looking for someone who wants to do more than maintain systems, someone who wants to help build a stronger technology environment as the organization grows.
