Summary
Administers and supports Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments for a government IT services contractor serving Department of War, Intelligence Community, and Federal Civilian clients. Day to day involves RHEL system administration, writing automation scripts, and managing virtualization (VMware) and enterprise backup/restore (ideally NetApp).

The Position:
The expert will have strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems and will be able to design and implement automation scripts. They should also understand virtualization systems (like VMWare) and enterprise backup/restoration strategies (preferably using NetApp). This role involves providing high-level technical support and guidance for RHEL Operating Environments, related systems, and middleware, focusing on system administration for contract specific operations.
