Senior Systems Administrator

Are you an experienced infrastrucutre contractor who can get stuck in complex environments from day one? An exciting position is available to join a large state gov in their virtual migration project.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the technical delivery of large-scale VMware ESXi to Microsoft Hyper-V migration.
• Planning migration waves, coordinating dependencies, testing, implementation and rollback activities.
• Providing senior-level administration, patching, upgrades, monitoring and support across enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Administering and supporting VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V and Veeam Backup & Recovery environments.
• Support infrastructure hosted across on-premis, AWS and Azure

Your background:

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware ESXi and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Proven experience supporting Veeam Backup & Recovery solutions.
• Demonstrated success delivering large-scale infrastructure or VM migration projects.
• Experience working within IT Service Management frameworks and platforms such as ServiceNow.
• The ability to work effectively across operational teams, projects and external vendors.
