About the role
Senior Systems Analyst – AI-First position requiring 5+ years of Systems Analysis experience with at least 1 year of continuous hands-on AI utilization in professional work. The role utilizes AI as the primary tool for analysis, design, issue management, and documentation. Reports to Project Manager / Technical Lead and collaborates with BAs, Developers, UX/UI Designers, QA/UAT Teams, and Business Users.
Key responsibilities
Leverage AI to read and summarize TORs, meeting minutes, existing requirement documents, and legacy specs to extract Requirement Lists, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria. Identify document gaps and contradictions, confirming findings with BAs and users prior to system design.
Utilize AI to generate initial drafts of Use Cases, Process Flows, Sequence Diagrams, ER Diagrams, Screen/Field Specifications, Business Rules, and API Specifications, standardizing and refining them in accordance with project Common Design standards.
Design Microsoft SQL Server architecture to support all three systems. Leverage AI to inspect normalization, ensure field mapping consistency, and generate comprehensive Data Dictionaries.
Apply AI to analyze full issue logs to cluster duplicate tickets, categorize issues (Bug / Data / Config / Not a Defect / Change Request), pinpoint likely fix locations (UI / API / Mapping), prioritize resolution, and draft clear action tickets for developers.
Leverage AI to generate Test Cases and Test Data for retesting and regression testing of adjacent functions. Utilize AI tools to run tests and compile test result reports with supporting evidence before handing over to BAs.
Use AI to cross-check specification consistency against developed code and screens, as well as audit specification completeness before engineering handoff to minimize rework loops.
Design integration interfaces with EGAT internal systems and shared enterprise services. Employ AI to analyze field mappings and perform interface impact analysis.
Use AI to assess Change Request impacts across screens, APIs, and databases, producing effort estimations backed by concrete evidence.
Build and maintain prompts, templates, skills, and project specification knowledge bases for AI grounding. Set up automated routines (such as daily morning issue rollups) and transfer best practices to the team.
Draft and validate milestone deliverables—including SRS/FSD/SDD, Interface Specifications, and Traceability Matrices—using AI to ensure strict adherence to EGAT format and quality requirements.
About you
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in System Analysis & Design, with at least 1–2 end-to-end large-scale software development lifecycles served in an SA role.
At least 1 year of continuous, practical AI application in SA workflows: Able to present work artifacts (e.g., AI-assisted specs or test cases, regular prompts, or automated workflows) and explain how AI tangibly cut delivery time or improved output quality.
Proficiency with Agentic AI tooling: Experience using tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot Agent for multi-step execution (project file consumption → deep analysis → document/table/diagram generation), beyond conversational chat queries.
Proven ability to craft structured instructions, provide rich context, inject examples, define verification rubrics, and decompose complex initiatives into sequential sub-tasks for AI models.
Ability to spot hallucinations, missing information, or misinterpretations, maintaining clear judgment on when not to rely on AI.
Proven ability to prepare complete, rigorous SDD/FSD, UML diagrams, and data models (using AI for drafting).
Strong relational database design skills with advanced proficiency in SQL / T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server).
Solid grasp of modern web application architecture (C# .NET backend, React frontend, RESTful APIs, and Microservices / Service-oriented design).
Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and presentation skills; proven capability to deliver within milestone deadlines.
