Whether your background is as a Senior Systems Developer, Senior Digital Solutions Developer, full stack developer or Senior Solutions Engineer, bring your expertise to Mackay Regional Council's Information Services team. This Level 6 -7 (Stream A) Senior Systems Analyst role puts hands-on full stack development at the centre of your work. Build and maintain custom applications, work with Azure cloud services and SQL Server environments, and manage deployments using documented processes and source control. Take technical ownership of secure, reliable software-from development and testing through to ongoing support-and share your expertise with colleagues.

You'll need:

• Full stack development experience, significant C# and JavaScript programming experience, and strong knowledge of Visual Studio, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and GitHub.
• Substantial Azure or similar cloud hosting experience, with strong knowledge of Azure services, Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, including database maintenance, SSIS and automated jobs.
• Relevant ICT, Information Systems, Business or equivalent industry qualifications-a degree is preferred; a diploma or lesser formal qualifications with significant relevant experience are also accepted.
• Significant experience developing ICT solutions and translating requirements and functional specifications into tested, working applications.
• Strong problem-solving, technical documentation and communication skills, with knowledge of business process redesign and the systems development life cycle.
• The ability to prioritise development and support work under limited direction and share knowledge through technical coaching and mentoring.
• A Queensland C class driver's licence or interstate equivalent, transferred to Queensland within three months of commencement.

Bring your interest in AI and automation. Experience developing agentic solutions in Microsoft Copilot Studio would be advantageous, along with familiarity with Power Platform, SharePoint Online and continuous integration and delivery. • Base annual salary $113,123 - $115,633.
