Senior Systems Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year

• Strong systems thinking ability with the capacity to understand complex requirements and turn them into clear concepts, architectures and technical solutions
• Comfortable working with different engineering disciplines and communicating technical information to both technical and senior stakeholders
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
• Ability to influence discussions and clearly present a technical narrative
• Experience within systems engineering, requirements engineering, system architecture or a related engineering environment
• Interest in working collaboratively and developing experience within an advanced defense programme

• Develop system concepts and contribute to wider System of Systems activities
• Gather, analyze and break down complex system requirements
• Support the development of system architectures using Model-Based Engineering approaches
• Work with engineering and design teams to define system concepts and key design principles
• Assess different technical approaches and support trade-off decisions
• Translate complex operational needs into practical system concepts and architectures
• Help shape how the overall system should operate while balancing requirements, technical constraints and wider programme objectives
