Our local team focuses on Electronic Warfare (EW), developing and deploying solutions in Communication Intelligence (ComInt), Communication Electronic Support Measures (C-ESM), and Data Fusion. We work closely with Japanese partners and collaborate with our engineering teams in Germany to deliver high-quality solutions tailored to the local market.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will help ensure smooth system operation in ComInt and C-ESM projects and support the delivery of high-quality solutions to our customers as part of a global, collaborative engineering team.
Adapt and refine standard Concepts of ComInt/C-ESM System Operation to specific customer needs
Technical root cause analysis with Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) preparation
2nd Level support for complex customer issues with your deployed system in warranty or maintenance phase
Organize product demonstrations together with our Application Engineering team
Change management during project execution including system documentation
Close interaction with Program/Project Management
Collaborate with Sales department regarding technical questions
Establish and maintain a close local interface to our partners and customers
In close collaboration with local team members in Japan, international colleagues, and experts in Germany, you will contribute to the successful delivery of our programs in Japan. Throughout the system lifecycle, from development to production, you will work together with cross-functional teams, including Program Office, Software Development, Integration & Test, and Production.
Skills and Experience:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, or scientific discipline OR comparable qualification
Experience with Systems Engineering, Hard- or Software Development
Ability to understand and interpret System Design documents
Basic knowledge on Communications Engineering, Signal Processing or RF Technology
Strong willingness to learn, and attention to quality
Communication and documentation skills: Japanese (business-level – customer interaction & documentation), English (working level - internal & global communication)
Desired:
Long-term experience with signal processing algorithms
Experience with Configuration Management
Defense domain knowledge regarding ComInt and C-ESM
