Senior Systems Engineer (Level 3 MSP) | WFH
Job Description
We are currently on the lookout for a new Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Cloudstaff, the #1 workplace everywhere!
- Serve as primary escalation point for Level 1 and 2 support teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues with networks, servers, and workstations
- Manage cloud services including Office 365, Azure, AWS, and Google Workspace
- Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability systems
- Design, implement, and optimize IT infrastructure and remote solutions
- Collaborate on projects, migrations, and system upgrades with internal teams
- Document technical solutions, processes, and client system configurations
- Mentor and guide Level 1 and 2 technicians, ensuring best practices
- Adhere to IT best practices, security policies, and compliance standards
- Join on-call rotations and handle after-hours IT emergencies
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience as Senior IT Technician or Level 3 support in MSP
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, VMware/Hyper-V
- Advanced networking knowledge including firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, backup, and disaster recovery
- Strong understanding of security principles, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management
- Can work independently and remotely while managing multiple priorities
- Relevant certifications preferred (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, and VMware)
