Job Description\:

As a Senior Systems Engineer - Mission Data, you will lead the specification, design, development, qualification and delivery of Mission Data Sets for delivery to various export Customers. The role includes interaction with internal and external Customers and Suppliers in order to develop Mission Data solutions to enable the Customer’s operational data advantage.

What you’ll be doing\:

  • Performing Radio Frequency emitter ambiguity analysis
  • Creating DASS (Defensive Aid Sub System) receiver search strategies
  • Programming DASS Mission Data utilising the DASS Mission Data preparation programme toolsets
  • Developing and Testing Mission Data
  • Supporting customer trials/Mission Data validation
  • Providing responses to In Service Support Tasks
  • Supporting Rigs, Flight Test and Problem Investigation

Your skills and experiences\:

  • A degree in a STEM subject, HND/HNC with sound experience of the Engineering Lifecycle, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Proven system engineering experience
  • Team Leader experince
  • Ideally have a familiarity with Advanced Electronic Warfare and Countermeasure principles and Mission Data Development

The Mission Enablement Electronic Warfare Solutions Team\:

The Mission Enablement Electronic Warfare Solutions team design, develop and integrate a suite of electronic warfare products and provision Mission Data for the Eurofighter partner nations, in addition to key export nations. These products allow the nations’ air forces to develop, test and validate their Typhoon mission data before being loaded to the aircraft, in addition to post flight analysis.
