Senior Systems Engineer

Salary: $8,500 – $9,700 per month

In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise systems infrastructure that powers our organization's operations. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and security while driving innovation in our infrastructure strategy. • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise systems infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments

• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal service delivery and identify optimization opportunities

• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement effective, timely solutions with a detail-oriented approach

• Develop and maintain comprehensive backup and disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity

• Implement and enforce security policies, compliance requirements, and data protection measures across all systems

• Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades while minimizing downtime and maintaining service quality

• Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages and automation tools to improve efficiency

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate systems with enterprise applications and cloud services seamlessly

• Design and optimize infrastructure architecture to support organizational growth and evolving business needs

• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior team members and stakeholders

• Analyze and optimize system costs and resource utilization to maximize return on investment

• Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices to ensure knowledge management and organizational learning

• Participate in capacity planning initiatives and make data-driven recommendations for infrastructure improvements

• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies to enhance system capabilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in systems engineering, infrastructure management, or related IT roles

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proven analytical mindset

• Proficiency in Linux servers

• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or equivalent)

• Hands-on experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Solid understanding of security, compliance, and data protection principles

• Experience with infrastructure management, system administration, and capacity planning

• Excellent organizational and documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Strong communication abilities and demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Experience with network infrastructure and system architecture design

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
