Green Light Worldwide is seeking an experienced Senior Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to support a large enterprise infrastructure environment on an initial 6-12 month contract.
This is a hands-on BAU support role responsible for maintaining and supporting a broad range of enterprise infrastructure technologies. The successful candidate will provide senior technical support across virtualisation, compute, storage, backup, and Windows environments while ensuring the availability and performance of critical business systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level BAU support across enterprise infrastructure platforms
- Administer and support VMware virtualisation environments
- Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure and associated services
- Support Cisco UCS compute environments
- Maintain enterprise storage and backup platforms
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure incidents
- Ensure high availability and performance of critical infrastructure services
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable infrastructure support
- Contribute to system improvements, maintenance activities, and operational best practices
- Extensive experience as a Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer within enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- VMware
- Windows Server
- Cisco UCS
- Experience supporting enterprise storage platforms (Pure Storage, NetApp, Dell EMC, or similar)
- Experience with Commvault or comparable enterprise backup solutions
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple infrastructure technologies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to support internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- Experience within large enterprise or managed services environments
- Exposure to a broad range of infrastructure technologies
- Experience supporting business-critical production environments
