Day to day: defining target-state architecture, designing integrations across payments, lending and digital channels, and driving modernization and architecture governance.
emagine is seeking an experienced Senior T24 Architect to support the evolution and modernization of a large-scale Core Banking landscape. This assignment focuses on defining and guiding the architecture of a complex Temenos T24 (Temenos Transact) environment, ensuring alignment between business capabilities, technology platforms, and long-term strategic objectives.
The consultant will provide architectural leadership across multiple initiatives and delivery streams, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, and external vendors. The role is critical in balancing platform stability and resilience while enabling transformation, modernization, and simplification of core banking capabilities.

About the role
Core Banking Architecture Leadership
Define and drive the architecture roadmap for Temenos T24 and related Core Banking capabilities.
Develop target-state architecture, architectural principles, and standards aligned with business and technology strategies.
Provide end-to-end solution and architecture leadership across complex programs and initiatives.
Ensure consistency, scalability, maintainability, and sustainability across the Core Banking ecosystem.
Solution Design and Integration
Translate business requirements into practical and robust architecture solutions.
Design integrations between Core Banking, payments, lending, deposits, digital channels, customer management platforms, and enterprise data services.
Identify and manage application interfaces, data flows, dependencies, and integration patterns.
Evaluate architectural alternatives and provide recommendations based on business value, risk, and technical complexity.
Platform Modernization
Drive modernization initiatives within the Core Banking landscape while maintaining operational stability.
Promote API-first, event-driven, and cloud-enabled architecture approaches where appropriate.
Simplify technology landscapes and improve maintainability, operability, and testability.
Identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and reuse across teams and business domains.
Governance, Resilience and Risk Management
Define and validate functional and non-functional requirements related to security, availability, scalability, performance, resilience, and operational excellence.
Lead architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and regulatory requirements.
Identify architecture risks, technical debt, and lifecycle challenges, and propose remediation plans.
Ensure an architectural runway that supports both current deliveries and future transformation initiatives.
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with business leaders, product organizations, engineering teams, enterprise architects, and external partners.
Act as a trusted advisor for strategic Core Banking initiatives and technology investment decisions.
Communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor architects and senior engineers while promoting sound architectural decision-making.
Your profile, must haves:
Extensive experience with Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact in architecture, solution design, or senior engineering roles.
Deep understanding of Core Banking platforms, processes, and integration landscapes.
Proven track record leading large-scale banking transformation, migration, or modernization programs.
Experience working across multiple teams, products, domains, or markets in complex enterprise environments.
Strong background in banking environments with demanding requirements around security, resilience, availability, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Skills
Experience with API-led and event-driven architecture patterns.
Knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid architecture environments.
