Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant

Responsibilities of the Role:
•Assist the Talent Acquisition Manager in the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies to attract, assess, and hire top-quality candidates. This includes developing ‘virtual benches’ of regularly required skills/ talent
•Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, job requirements, and team dynamics.
•Source potential candidates through various channels, Job Adder, job boards, social media platforms (including LinkedIn), professional networks, and referrals.
•Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure their qualifications and fit with the organisation.
•Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the interview and selection process.
•Coordinate and schedule interviews, manage candidate feedback, and maintain communication with applicants throughout the hiring process.
•Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
•Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and proactively recommend improvements to the recruitment process.
•Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline by fostering relationships with universities, professional organisations, and other sources of talent.
•Mentoring junior members of the team, providing ‘at the desk’ support as and
when required
•Build and grow online network and reputation on LinkedIn and other social media platforms
•Attend conferences and events to spread awareness of KDC and associated brands.
Required Skills:
•Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Consultant or similar role.
•In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition strategies, best practices, and current trends.
•Strong understanding of different sourcing techniques and tools, including social media platforms, job boards, and ATS systems.
•Excellent interviewing and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate candidates based on both technical and cultural fit.
•Exceptional communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
•Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
•High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.
Success – how is the role measured?
•Performance in line with Internal Service Level Agreement and set quarterly objectives
•Build and maintain hotlists of candidates with ongoing skill sets, within specialisation
•Development of social networks within specialisation
•Effectiveness of support to junior members of the team
