As a Senior Talent Program Manager on the Talent Programs team within People Success, you'll own the design and execution of how Coinbase selects and evaluates talent at scale. This team defines the strategy, systems, and processes that keep our hiring engine running with the highest quality, and this role sits at the center of that work.

What you'll do:

  • Own the end-to-end design and implementation of selection and assessment programs, building the frameworks, rubrics, and calibration processes that drive consistent, high-quality hiring decisions across Coinbase
  • Lead cross-functional program execution with COEs including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, People Analytics, and HR Tech, managing detailed project plans, stakeholder alignment, and delivery timelines for concurrent initiatives
  • Build scalable interviewer enablement programs that strengthen how hiring teams evaluate candidates, including scorecard design, structured interview methodology, and bias-reduction practices
  • Drive the change management strategy for new selection and assessment programs, owning stakeholder alignment, enablement materials, communications, and adoption tracking to ensure frameworks land consistently across teams
  • Partner with People Analytics to define success metrics for selection programs, using data to validate assessment effectiveness, identify gaps, and iterate on evaluation criteria
  • Shape the methodology behind talent evaluation by researching and piloting new assessment tools, techniques, and vendor solutions, establishing a framework for experimentation and continuous improvement

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in HR program management, talent operations, or HR/people-focused management consulting, with demonstrated ability to design structured frameworks, move at speed, and ship programs that change how organizations operate
  • Proven track record managing multiple concurrent cross-functional programs from concept through execution, with demonstrated ability to build detailed project plans, hold stakeholders accountable, and deliver measurable outcomes
  • Experience building or redesigning structured interview processes, assessment rubrics, or evaluation frameworks at a technology company
  • Fluency in using data to validate program effectiveness, including defining KPIs, analyzing hiring outcomes, and translating findings into actionable recommendations for senior leadership
  • Strong preference for background in industrial-organizational psychology, psychometrics, or applied research methods, with experience applying selection science to talent evaluation design
  • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
