Job Summary

Tetra Pak is looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to ensure the accurate calculation and compliance of IRPJ and CSLL, including current and deferred tax calculations, submission of ancillary obligations (ECD, ECF), and reconciliations between accounting and tax bases. The role also involves analyzing the impact of accounting entries on taxes, monitoring legislation (including Transfer Pricing), supporting audits and tax inspections, as well as advising internal areas and identifying risks and process improvement opportunities.


This position will be based in Monte Mor, São Paulo, Brazil.

What you will do

As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will:

  • Develop/create/maintain controls to ensure the accurate calculation and compliance with primary and ancillary obligations related to IRPJ (Corporate Income Tax) and CSLL (Social Contribution on Net Income);
  • Prepare and review IRPJ and CSLL calculations, including current and deferred tax;
  • Ensure the timely and high-quality submission of ancillary obligations related to direct taxes (ECD, ECF, and other applicable filings);
  • Perform and validate reconciliations between tax and accounting bases (taxable income vs. accounting income);
  • Monitor and analyze the impact of accounting entries on the calculation of direct taxes;
  • Monitor and interpret changes in federal legislation applicable to IRPJ, CSLL, and Transfer Pricing, assessing impacts on the company;
  • Support internal and external audit requests related to direct taxes;
  • Handle tax audits and notifications from the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service;
  • Control and monitor Tax Clearance Certificates (CNDs) and tax accounts;
  • Support and advise internal stakeholders regarding the correct tax treatment of company transactions;
  • Prepare and review Transfer Pricing documentation, ensuring compliance with Brazilian legislation and group policies;
  • Actively identify tax risks and opportunities for improvement in processes related to direct taxes.

We believe you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, or related fields;
  • Solid experience working with direct taxes;
  • Knowledge of or experience in the LATAM market will be considered a plus;
  • Knowledge of Power Apps;
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications, with advanced skills in Excel, SAP, and ERP Guepardo;
  • Advanced English, with strong communication skills. Spanish will be considered a strong plus;
