Role Summary
The role involves supporting international tax and regulatory advisory engagements for clients in the Infrastructure, Manufacturing, EPC, Energy & Natural Resources, Transport & Logistics, E-commerce, Government, and Hospitality (IGH) sectors.
The incumbent will work closely with senior team members to deliver tax advisory, compliance, and litigation support services while building strong technical and professional foundations.
Key Responsibilities
Sector & Regulatory Expertise
· Assist on corporate tax mandates and complex tax structuring and restructuring assignments for domestic and international clients including execution of international tax advisory, entry / exit strategies, funding & repartition options, tax treaty analysis and withholding tax (‘WHT’) implications.
· Conduct technical research on recent case laws, amendments, circulars, and regulatory developments.
· Assist in preparation of technical memos, presentations, and advisory documentation of international and domestic tax issues such as Permanent Establishment implication, Significant Economic Presence (SEP), Thin capitalization rules, taxability of royalty / FTS, Capital gain implications under tax treaty and Act.
· Support corporate and international tax compliance engagements, including filing of returns, assessments, and statutory timelines.
· Support preparation of submissions for scrutiny assessments, rectification and stay applications, and appeals before CIT(A) and ITAT.
· Assist in representation matters before tax authorities and follow up on rectifications, refunds, and stay applications.
· Support review of tax provisioning and tax audit finalisation for audit clients.
· Develop and demonstrate strong technical knowledge in corporate and international tax and regulatory laws (FEMA and corporate law).
· Use firm-approved tools and technologies for documentation, deliverable uploads, and tracking.
· Assist in filing and document management from an internal review and quality perspective.
· Ensure timely delivery of engagements in line with firm quality standards, professional guidelines, internal risk policies and client administration requirements.
· Actively participate in firm initiatives, including training programs and CSR activities.
· Ensure timely billing support, maintenance of client and billing trackers, and real-time status updates.

Qualifications
· Qualified Chartered Accountant.
Experience
· 0–2 years of experience in corporate tax, direct tax, or international tax (training/articleship or post-qualification experience included).
