Senior Technical Account Manager

Owns complex technical relationships with global financial institutions in regulated environments. Acts as the executive-level technical authority, translating regulatory and architectural challenges into delivery plans while coordinating engineers, preventing incidents, supporting compliance, and improving customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical authority for Tier 1 financial services accounts.
  • Own technical account relationships end-to-end, including architecture reviews, roadmap alignment, risk posture, and platform strategy.
  • Partner with Account Directors on commercial strategy, retention, and expansion signals.
  • Review customer integration architectures across SDKs, REST, webhooks, async systems, SQL, tracing, and AWS.
  • Conduct architecture reviews and production readiness assessments.
  • Own change and release management, including testing, customer communications, and rollback procedures.
  • Lead business continuity and multi-region readiness assessments.
  • Run incident response, executive communications, post-incident reviews, and remediation plans.
  • Support security reviews, vendor assessments, penetration test responses, and compliance conversations.
  • Advise on SDK injection threat modeling, client-side identity verification security, and ML model governance.
  • Coordinate internal technical resources and synthesize account patterns into product feedback.
  • Build AI-assisted operational workflows and reusable FinServ TAM playbooks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role owning Tier 1 enterprise accounts.
  • Full-stack integration fluency across Web/Mobile SDKs, REST, webhooks, async patterns, SQL, logs, and distributed tracing.
  • AWS architecture experience with multi-region deployments and availability zones.
  • Data analysis and reporting experience with dashboards, health scorecards, SLA reports, and trend analysis.
  • Experience leading major production incidents at enterprise accounts.
  • Python, Bash, or equivalent scripting and automation proficiency.
  • Direct technical experience with Tier 1 financial services institutions.
  • Working knowledge of at least two of SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR/CCPA, and PIPEDA.
  • Experience working with CISOs, InfoSec, internal audit, and compliance stakeholders in a technical vendor role.
  • Familiarity with enterprise change management, model governance, freeze windows, and release gating.
  • Experience with identity verification, fraud prevention, biometrics, or related security products preferred.
  • Knowledge of SDK injection attacks, client-side threat modeling, or mobile application security preferred.
  • Experience at a high-growth SaaS company preferred.
