An exciting opportunity is available to join our Cybersecurity team as a Senior Technical Analyst, specialising in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, Controls, and Third-Party Risk Management. In this role, you will be pivotal in enabling your squad to deliver secure, reliable, and maintainable customer outcomes. You'll translate complex compliance and risk management requirements into clear, testable, and robust security controls, directly contributing to the security and integrity of our systems.
As a key member of the team, you will bring your deep domain expertise to map processes, shape the scope of projects, and define acceptance criteria, ensuring a smooth flow of delivery from discovery through to operations.
In this role you'll get to…
- Future-proof our partner ecosystem by championing continuous improvements to our Security Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) processes and systems, ensuring vendor assessments are highly efficient, rigorous, and seamless.
- Provide robust security assurance by governing our end-to-end risk and control frameworks, maintaining independent oversight to ensure our defensive posture remains resilient, compliant, and aligned with strategic risk appetite.
- Advance cyber control maturity and visibility through well-defined controls and by codifying security standards into continuous and automated controls testing with associated risk metrics.
- Shape and safeguard our security posture by drafting, updating, and aligning cyber security policies and standards with evolving regulatory expectations and industry benchmarks (such as APRA CPS 234 and NIST).
- Assist in regular reporting cycles to security committees and board risk forums, translating complex compliance metrics into clear, actionable risk summaries.

To be successful in the role you will have: …
- Extensive depth of experience and strong domain expertise in 3rd Party Security Risk Management or similar security-focused areas.
- A strategic mindset with proven ability to review, improve and report complex governance challenges and requirements.
- Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to team members.
- The ability to provide guidance and support to the Engineering Manager and other leaders.
- A solid understanding of risk and controls, including security and privacy basics, resilience patterns, and banking-relevant controls.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and manage stakeholders across business and engineering.
