Senior Technical Analyst, Cloud Architecture and Technology

About the role

This role involves evaluating emerging public cloud technologies and services through technical assessments, proof-of-concept studies, and pilot implementations. You will design and define cloud architecture patterns, operational models, and best practices to support enterprise technology initiatives, and design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using cloud services and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate emerging public cloud technologies and services through technical assessments, proof-of-concept (PoC) studies, and pilot implementations

• Design and define cloud architecture patterns, operational models, and best practices to support enterprise technology initiatives

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions using cloud services and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Collaborate closely with application, infrastructure, platform, cybersecurity, and business teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions

• Partner with internal stakeholders and public cloud providers to ensure solutions meet business objectives as well as functional, security, performance, and operational requirements

• Provide technical recommendations on cloud adoption, architecture design, platform engineering, automation, and operational excellence

• Support the continuous improvement of cloud governance, security, observability, resilience, and operational processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline

• Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology, including hands-on experience with public cloud platforms

• Experience with at least one public cloud platform, such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Alibaba Cloud, or equivalent public cloud platforms

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Rundeck

• Solid experience in CI/CD implementation, using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions

• Experience in software development using technologies such as Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, React, and Vue.js

• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL and MongoDB

• Knowledge of cloud architecture, platform engineering, and cloud-native technologies is highly desirable

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Technical Analyst
