Senior Technical Architect

IGT Solutions Private Limited is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of end‑to‑end data pipelines and analytics platforms within the IATA‑Offshore department. The role demands deep expertise in Python, PySpark, Azure Databricks, AWS, SQL, and Snowflake, combined with strong solutioning skills to translate business requirements into robust, cloud‑native architectures that support global airline operations.

• Define and evolve the overall data architecture strategy aligned with business goals.
• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Python and PySpark.
• Architect solutions on Azure Databricks and AWS services, ensuring best‑practice cloud deployment.
• Integrate Snowflake as the central data warehouse, managing data modeling and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Lead technical reviews, code audits, and enforce coding standards and security policies.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers on modern data engineering practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption to enhance platform capabilities.
• Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance across all solutions.
• Provide technical leadership during project delivery, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture.
• Expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL programming.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks and AWS cloud services.
• Deep knowledge of Snowflake data warehousing and performance optimization.
• Proven track record of solutioning complex, large‑scale data platforms.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design patterns, and big data technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor technical teams in an offshore environment.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
