The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to support a major Information Security program within a complex enterprise environment in a long-term contract.
Working across 2–3 key program streams, you will translate the broader Enterprise Architecture direction into practical technical architectures and designs. You’ll work closely with security, technology, project and delivery teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, resilient and fit for purpose.
This is a hands-on architecture role, suited to someone who can move comfortably between high-level architecture and detailed technical design.

Main Responsibilities:
- Develop technical architectures and detailed solution designs across assigned program streams.
- Translate enterprise architecture direction into practical technical solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance and assurance throughout delivery.
- Assess solution options, technical risks, dependencies and impacts.
- Ensure solutions align with security requirements, enterprise standards and architecture principles.
- Define technology, cloud, infrastructure, integration and security patterns.
- Work with security specialists, engineers, project teams, vendors and senior stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to delivery teams.
- Extensive experience in a Technical Architect role within an enterprise environment
- Strong technical architecture experience across cloud, infrastructure, platforms, integration and security.
- Good understanding of security architecture, technology risk, resilience and secure-by-design principles.
- Experience with Azure, AWS or other major cloud platforms.
- Understanding of identity and access management, networking, enterprise platforms and integration technologies.
- Experience with architecture governance, standards, patterns and design assurance.
- Ability to develop clear architecture and design documentation that delivery teams can implement.
- Play a key technical architecture role within a major Information Security program.
- Work across complex enterprise technology, cloud, infrastructure and security environments.
- Collaborate with experienced Enterprise, Program, Solution and Security Architects.
