Senior Technical Product Owner - Data & AI
Salary: £50,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- Significant experience leading Data, Analytics and AI portfolios within a complex enterprise environment, delivering tangible business outcomes through technology and innovation.
- Strong technical credibility across modern data platforms, AI technologies and cloud-native architectures, with the ability to combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.
- A passion for emerging technology, evidenced by maintaining awareness of AI, data and industry developments, and successfully translating innovation into practical business value.
- Experience building internal capability and reducing dependency on third parties through the development of skills, platforms and engineering expertise.
- Proven people leadership experience, including coaching and developing senior technical professionals and creating high-performing engineering teams.
- The ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels, from engineers and architects through to senior business leaders, while maintaining a delivery-focused mindset.
- Lead the Data & AI strategy, translating business priorities into a clear roadmap and delivery plan that delivers measurable business value.
- Partner with Data and AI Platform Owners to shape platform direction, prioritise investment, and ensure successful adoption of Data, AI and Automation capabilities across the business.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership across Data and AI initiatives, actively contributing to solution design, architecture decisions and problem solving where required.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging AI, data and automation technologies, assessing industry trends and opportunities to bring new capabilities and expertise to the business, with a strong focus on building and growing in-house capability.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Lead Developers, fostering a high-performing engineering culture, strong technical standards and continuous learning.
- Act as the key interface between business stakeholders, engineering teams, architects and strategic partners, ensuring appropriate governance, standards and controls are applied across the portfolio.
