Senior Technical Program Manager
You will lead Muon Space's Programs efforts, responsible for successfully delivering solutions, products, and technology while managing cost and schedule baselines on contracts with U.S. Government and Commercial Organizations. You will be a key member of the Mission Engineering team, collaborating closely with engineering, business, legal, finance, and operations departments. You will support the portfolio's growth by fostering organic growth on existing contracts and supporting captures of new contracts. You will delight customers and users with high-quality products and solutions delivered on time and on budget, meeting contractual obligations. You will turn program pieces into well-organized roadmaps, schedules, and budgets, tracking them throughout the program lifecycle. You will monitor and ensure successful execution of the contracts you manage, and support business development through proposals, RFI responses, customer engagement, and organic growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead a multidisciplinary aerospace development effort, driving day-to-day execution of the program
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to plan and coordinate the resources necessary to execute the program
- Synchronize a diverse technical team by establishing tools, practices, and process
- Participate in technical discussions, ask probing questions, and work with the team to pull together scoping, schedules, and solutions to issues
- Track and report program metrics on schedule, resource, cost, risk, and technical performance
- Serve as the face of the company to customers, subcontractors and suppliers
Requirements
- 5+ years relevant experience in program management
- B.S. in an engineering discipline, M.S. or Ph.D. preferred
- Track record of successfully delivering complete systems (hardware, firmware, software, algorithms) on time, to scope, with high quality
- Experience in development and/or program management of satellite based systems. Ability to instantiate and manage integrated master schedules
- Expertise in modern, cloud-based productivity tools
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills, with ability to work successfully across all engineering disciplines
- Experience in vendor and contract management
