Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to
work directly with the engineering team supporting our Data Products, Data
Fabric, Data Portal, Metadata, and Agent AI enablement work.
This is a true Delivery Project Manager role. The
person needs to be embedded with the engineering team day-to-day, helping
organize Jira, clarify priorities, track sprint progress, manage
dependencies, and ensure the team is focused on the right work.
Key Responsibilities
- Own
and maintain the team's Jira structure, backlog, sprint board, epics,
stories, dependencies, and delivery tracking.
- Work
directly with engineers, TALs, architects, product owners, and business
stakeholders to clarify scope and priorities.
- Ensure
engineering work is properly broken down, sequenced, assigned, and
progressing against committed timelines.
- Run
delivery routines including sprint planning, backlog grooming,
standups, RAID tracking, status updates, and escalation management.
- Track
blockers, risks, dependencies, and decisions across Data Products, Data
Portal, Metadata, and Agent-related work.
- Help
translate business or product asks into clear engineering deliverables and
acceptance criteria.
- Keep
leadership informed on progress, risks, trade-offs, and priority
conflicts.
- Drive
accountability and follow-through without needing to be the technical
decision-maker.
Required Background
- Strong Technical Project Manager / Delivery Project Manager experience
working directly with engineering teams.
- Strong Jira and Agile delivery management experience.
- Working
knowledge of AWS and cloud-based data platforms.
- Familiarity
with Data Fabric, Data Products, Metadata, Data Catalog, and Data
Portal concepts.
- Basic
understanding of AI Agents, LLMs, RAG, Semantic Layers, or Knowledge
Graphs.
- Ability
to operate in ambiguity, create structure, and keep teams aligned on
priorities.
