Senior Technical Project Manager

Salary: $75 – $85 per hour

We are partnering with a global technology and professional services organisation supporting a high profile government client to appoint a Senior Technical Project Manager.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced project professional who enjoys working across project delivery, stakeholder engagement, business analysis, and platform support within a complex technology environment.

You'll play a key role in managing and evolving a workplace technology platform, working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to drive successful outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end to end technology projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget

• Drive project governance, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communications

• Facilitate workshops and engage with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements

• Translate business needs into system enhancements and improvement initiatives

• Support ongoing platform operations, issue triage, and vendor engagement

• Manage financial forecasting, project metrics, resource planning, and delivery performance

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders

• Identify opportunities to improve platform adoption, user experience, and business outcomes

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple workstreams and locations

About You

• 7+ years experience delivering technology projects in a Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, or similar role

• Strong project governance and stakeholder management capability

• Experience working across both project delivery and business analysis activities

• Exposure to application, platform, or product support functions

• Experience with IWMS (Integrated Workplace Management Systems) or workplace technology platforms

• Strong documentation, communication, and facilitation skills

• Comfortable working in complex enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree or higher

Highly Regarded

• Experience with workplace management or corporate real estate technology platforms

• Exposure to platform enhancement, transformation, or digital workplace initiatives

• Experience working with government or highly regulated environments

Requirements

• Australian Citizenship is essential

• Canberra based candidates are highly regarded, however strong candidates in Sydney or Melbourne will also be considered

• Ability to attend client sites as required
