Technical Sales Consultant
Digital Security Solutions | Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, or Eastern France
Native-level German (C2) and fluent English required

As demand for cybersecurity and cryptographic solutions continues to grow, we're looking for a passionate Technical Sales Consultant (TSC) to join our Digital Security Solutions team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong, customer-focused professional who enjoys combining consulting, solution architecture, and pre-sales expertise to help customers solve complex security challenges.
What You'll Do
As a trusted technical advisor, you'll work alongside our Sales teams to engage customers throughout their buying journey, translating complex technical concepts into business value and helping organizations successfully adopt Entrust's market-leading security solutions.
You will:
Partner with Sales teams during customer meetings, workshops, presentations, and industry events
Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations
Build, maintain, and enhance demonstration environments and proof-of-concept solutions
Develop technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, tenders, and customer proposals
Conduct technical training sessions for customers, partners, and internal teams
Support solution deployment, troubleshooting, and technical consultation both remotely and on-site
Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to influence product strategy and innovation
Document technical requirements, business drivers, and opportunity details within Salesforce
Act as a technical ambassador for Entrust across your regional territory
What Success Looks Like
In this role, you'll make a direct impact by:
Building trusted relationships with customers, partners, and sales colleagues
Driving successful technical evaluations and customer implementations
Delivering accurate and high-quality technical documentation and proposal content
Contributing to regional business growth and revenue objectives
Serving as a recognized technical expert within the Digital Security Solutions organization
What You'll Bring
Essential Qualifications
Native-level or C2 German language skills with excellent written communication ability
Fluent English language skills
Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience in customer-facing technical, pre-sales, or consulting roles within the IT security industry
Hands-on experience with server-side security technologies and enterprise infrastructure
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent professional experience
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
Willingness to travel regularly throughout your assigned region and occasionally across EMEA
Preferred Qualifications
We're especially interested in candidates with experience in:
Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Cryptography and key management solutions
Hardware Security Modules (HSMs)
Virtualization technologies
Enterprise cybersecurity architectures
Experience with any of the following is highly desirable:
Entrust/nCipher nShield
Utimaco
Thales/SafeNet
Atalla HSM platforms
Additional advantages include:
CISSP certification
Experience speaking or presenting at industry conferences and events
Additional European language skills
