Senior Technical Support Engineer
You will support production applications on cloud platforms, troubleshoot microservice and serverless architectures, monitor logs and systems, manage incidents and changes, automate operational tasks, perform root cause analysis, and provide clear technical assistance through written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Support production applications on cloud platforms
- Troubleshoot and monitor microservice and serverless architectures
- Use Docker and Kubernetes for troubleshooting and monitoring
- Automate operational tasks with scripting
- Manage releases, changes, incidents, and problems
- Monitor server logs with ELK and Kibana
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Identify issues proactively through log monitoring
- Use case-handling tools to manage support issues
- Triage issues and perform root cause analysis
- Provide step-by-step technical help in writing and verbally
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience supporting production applications on AWS or other cloud platforms
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MSSQL and NoSQL databases
- Willingness to work day and night shifts
- Troubleshooting and monitoring microservice and serverless architectures
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
- Ansible, Jenkins, or Chef experience
- Release, change, incident, and problem management experience
- ELK and Kibana experience
- ITIL, COBIT, or Microsoft Operations Framework certification is a plus
- Scripting or shell scripting experience
- Technical issue diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Monitoring tools, frameworks, and processes
- Interpersonal skills
- Freshdesk, Zendesk, or JIRA experience
- Triage and root cause analysis
- Written and verbal technical support
