Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Technical Talent Acquisition Partner based in Canada.

This is a strategic, hands-on talent acquisition role focused on building a more proactive and data-driven recruiting function. You will own end-to-end hiring for technical, data, analytics, and professional services positions across North America and Europe. Working closely with senior leaders, People & Culture, and Finance, you will translate business priorities into effective hiring strategies and forward-looking talent plans. You’ll bring structure and market intelligence to complex searches while improving hiring quality, consistency, and speed. The role offers significant autonomy to influence recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring-manager effectiveness. It is an ideal opportunity for an experienced recruiter who wants to help transform talent acquisition from a transactional service into a trusted strategic business partner.

Accountabilities:

  • Own full-cycle recruitment for individual contributor through senior-level positions, managing sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessment, offers, background checks, and candidate dispositions.
  • Lead structured intake sessions with hiring leaders to establish clear success profiles, measurable hiring criteria, sourcing strategies, and interview plans.
  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies and talent pipelines for priority, high-demand, and future capability areas across North America and Europe.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to advise on talent availability, market dynamics, compensation benchmarks, and hiring feasibility.
  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience throughout every stage of the recruitment process.
  • Manage enterprise ATS activities with strong attention to requisition accuracy, data quality, reporting, and process compliance.
  • Coach hiring managers on structured and competency-based interviewing and facilitate objective, data-informed debriefs and hiring decisions.
  • Contribute to workforce planning with Finance and People & Culture partners to anticipate talent requirements and align hiring with business priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, automate, and scale recruiting processes, tools, and operating practices.
  • Provide stakeholders with regular pipeline updates, recruiting metrics, time-to-fill reporting, and actionable insights.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and position Talent Acquisition as a trusted advisor rather than a transactional recruiting function.
  • Requirements:

    • Progressive experience in full-cycle recruiting, ideally within technology, data, analytics, professional services, or similarly competitive talent markets.
    • Demonstrated experience recruiting across North America and Europe, with a proven ability to source and close mid-to-senior-level professionals, managers, and executive-level talent.
    • Strong experience managing enterprise ATS platforms such as Workday Recruiting, including requisition management, data accuracy, and reporting.
    • Advanced sourcing capability using LinkedIn Recruiter and modern talent-sourcing techniques, with a focus on proactive pipeline development.
    • Strong business partnership and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence hiring leaders, challenge assumptions, and establish credibility quickly.
    • Data literacy and confidence working with recruiting metrics, dashboards, and workforce insights to support evidence-based hiring decisions.
    • Experience designing or facilitating structured, competency-based, and values-aligned interview processes.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced, evolving environment without compromising candidate experience or hiring quality.
    • A transformation mindset, with demonstrated enthusiasm for improving processes, introducing structure, standardizing practices, and leveraging automation.
    • High accountability, sound judgment, and a strong focus on measurable outcomes.
    • Collaborative, solutions-oriented communication style with the confidence to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
    • Ability to operate independently while contributing positively to a collaborative, globally distributed talent team.
    • Benefits:

      • Salary: CA$100,000–CA$110,000 per year, with final compensation determined by skills, qualifications, experience, performance, business needs, and geographic location.
      • Remote work: Fully remote position based in Canada.
      • Opportunity to play a significant role in transforming and scaling a modern Talent Acquisition function.
      • Exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence workforce planning and strategic hiring decisions.
      • Opportunity to recruit across multiple markets, including North America and Europe.
      • A data-driven environment where recruiting insights and market intelligence directly influence business decisions.
      • Opportunities to improve recruiting technology, processes, automation, and operating models.
      • Inclusive and collaborative workplace committed to diversity and equal opportunity.
      • Accommodation support available throughout the recruitment and selection process for candidates who require it.
