About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical UI & Motion Designer who is obsessed with making UI feel responsive, polished, and satisfying — and has the technical skills to bring that experience to life directly in Unity. You will have ownership of defining and elevating the game's UI motion, interaction quality, and game feel.

This is a highly hands-on role at the intersection of motion design, UI animation, technical UI, game feel, and Unity implementation.

You will take features from creative concept → interactive prototype → production-ready implementation in Unity. You will work closely with UI/UX Designers, Game Designers, Engineers, Product, and Art Direction to define how interactions should feel and ensure that the final experience delivers on that vision.

As an addition to our UI/UX team, we are looking for someone who can bridge the gap between design and implementation: someone with a strong understanding of motion and interaction who is equally comfortable creating animation concepts and building the final experience inside Unity.

Role

  • Own UI motion and interaction from concept to final implementation in Unity.

  • Design and implement polished UI animations, transitions, feedback, and interaction states.

  • Prototype interactions quickly and explore different solutions.

  • Build production-ready UI and animation directly in Unity.

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and engineers to bring designs to life.

  • Improve game feel through better motion, timing, feedback, and responsiveness.

  • Build reusable, performant UI animation patterns, components, and systems.

  • Iterate design based on team feedback, playtests, and live data.

Profile

  • 4+ years of experience in technical UI, UI animation, motion design, or a related role, ideally in mobile games.

  • A strong portfolio or reel showing high-quality UI motion and interaction design.

  • Strong hands-on experience building and animating UI in Unity.

  • Ability to take an idea from prototype to polished, production-ready implementation.

  • Solid understanding of motion and animation principles, including timing, easing, feedback, and transitions.

  • Knowledge of After Effects, Spine, Rive or similar motion-design tools.

  • Strong understanding of Unity UI workflows and technical constraints.

  • Ability to balance visual quality, performance, and maintain system consistency.

  • Solid visual-design fundamentals, particularly around composition, hierarchy, readability, and feedback.

  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong collaboration skills and fluent English.

Nice to have

  • Ability to write or modify scripts for UI animation and interaction.

  • Experience with particles, VFX, shaders, or procedural UI effects.

  • Experience shipping or operating mobile games.

Benefits

  • Best-in-class compensation

  • Other benefits according to the country you reside
