At JG Ingenieros, we are looking to hire a Senior Telecommunications and ELV Systems Engineer who will assume technical leadership of this specialty in national and international projects.

You will be part of the Communications and Special Systems Department, participating in projects where electronic security, communications, and technological integration are essential to guarantee the operability, availability, and resilience of buildings.

What you'll do

You will be the reference person for the Communications and ELV Systems discipline within projects, defining design criteria, guaranteeing the technical quality of solutions, and coordinating their integration with the rest of the installations.

You will also act as the technical interlocutor for clients, architects, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.

• 🏗️ Technically lead the design of telecommunications, ICT, and ELV system infrastructures in complex buildings.
• 💡 Define technological strategies, design criteria, and technical solutions for each project.
• 📡 Design and supervise structured cabling systems, common telecommunications infrastructures, voice and data networks, fire detection and alarms, CCTV and video surveillance, access control, anti-intrusion detection, intercoms, and technological integration.
• 👥 Technically coordinate engineers and BIM modelers within the discipline.
• 🔗 Integrate ELV systems with the rest of the building's installations.
• 📐 Draft and validate reports, plans, technical specifications, measurements, and calculation reports.
• 🤝 Participate in design and coordination meetings with clients and project teams.
• 🎯 Present and defend proposed technical solutions and advise Project Directors in decision-making.
• 📈 Drive the continuous improvement of standards, procedures, and tools within the specialty.
• 🌐 Participate in Smart Buildings, IoT, digitalization, and automation initiatives.

What we're looking for

• 🎓 University degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent training.
• 🏢 Between 8 and 10 years of experience in the design of telecommunications, ICT, and ELV systems for buildings.
• 👤 Demonstrable experience technically leading communications and special systems projects.
• 📡 Solid knowledge of structured cabling, voice and data networks, fire detection, CCTV, access control, anti-intrusion systems, and intercoms.
• 🧩 Experience in BIM environments and multidisciplinary coordination.
• 💻 Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of Revit MEP.
• 🌍 Advanced English, preferably C1 level.
• 🗣️ Ability to coordinate teams and defend technical solutions to clients.
• ✅ Technical rigor, autonomy, and quality orientation.
