Contract: 1 October 2026 to 30 June 2027, with up to 24 months of extension options
Location: ACT preferred | VIC | NSW | QLD
Working Arrangement: Hybrid
Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
Clearance: Baseline Clearance mandatory, NV1 preferred

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the delivery and continuous improvement of enterprise technology solutions within a high-profile Australian Government environment.

Working across multiple development teams, you will play a key role in planning, executing and reporting on functional, integration and regression testing, aligned with Agile sprint delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Working across multiple development teams to understand product release scope and develop acceptance criteria aligned to business objectives, functional requirements and service-level requirements.
  • Developing comprehensive test plans, test scenarios and test scripts for specific releases.
  • Planning and undertaking functional, integration and regression testing throughout each release cycle.
  • Identifying, documenting, reporting and tracking defects through to resolution.
  • Assisting with issue triage, investigation and prioritisation.
  • Producing clear and accurate test reports and communicating testing outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Working collaboratively with developers, business representatives, project teams and other technology stakeholders to support successful releases.
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative and delivery-focused team culture.
Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Proven experience across the end-to-end test process, including test preparation, execution, defect management and reporting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate effectively with IT teams, project teams, business areas and external service providers.
  • The ability to work independently, manage priorities and remain self-motivated in a delivery-focused environment.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical and interpretive skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.
Desirable

Experience with one or more of the following would be highly regarded:
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions
  • ServiceNow
  • Testing within Agile/Sprint-based delivery environments
  • Large-scale enterprise or government technology environments
Rate
  • $112.00 per hour inc Super or ex GST / We pay weekly
