Senior Test Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support a large-scale technology and risk transformation environment within a large-scale regulatory program.

This role will focus on system integration testing, cybersecurity-related testing, data validation, and quality assurance across complex multi-vendor platforms and enterprise integrations.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Test Analyst with strong experience in integration testing, test planning, test execution, defect management, and stakeholder engagement within highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test approaches aligned to security, governance, operational resilience, and risk control requirements.
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, entry and exit criteria, and traceability documentation.
• Analyze business, system and integration requirements to design effective test coverage.
• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) across multiple applications, vendors and platforms.
• Validate data flows, transformations, mappings and interface behavior across complex ecosystems.
• Perform testing of API integrations, file-based interfaces, and data exchange processes.
• Validate accuracy of financial and operational data across interconnected systems.
• Capture test evidence and maintain high-quality documentation throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Support testing activities related to cyber security controls, governance requirements, and operational resilience.
• Validate risk controls, business continuity capabilities, and service provider processes.
• Conduct risk-based testing to ensure compliance and quality standards are met.
• Log, manage and track defects using Jira/Xray or similar tools.
• Participate in defect triage sessions with technology teams and external vendors.
• Produce test status reports, dashboards and testing metrics for stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with technology, security, integration, business, and vendor teams.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and assist business users in validating outcomes.
• Provide clear communication of testing progress, risks, issues and recommendations.

About You

You'll bring strong testing expertise combined with experience working in complex enterprise environments.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 5+ years' experience as a Test Analyst or Senior Test Analyst.
• Strong background in System Integration Testing (SIT) and end-to-end testing.
• Proven experience testing complex integrations across multiple applications and vendors.
• Experience validating APIs, interfaces, file transfers, data mappings and data quality.
• Exposure to cyber security, governance, risk management, or operational resilience initiatives.
• Strong experience with test planning, test design, execution and defect management.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Xray or similar testing tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work within large transformation and enterprise technology environments.

Highly Desirable

• Experience within financial services, banking, superannuation, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Understanding of APRA regulatory frameworks and operational risk controls.
• Experience with cybersecurity testing, governance frameworks, or risk-based testing approaches.
• ISTQB certification.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Exposure to investment, portfolio management, trading, or enterprise financial systems.
