Senior Test Analyst
About the role
OZEDI is seeking a talented Tester to be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive testing across business, government and superannuation messaging. You will work across front-end and back-end systems performing QA before developing and maintaining regression test suites and coordinating user acceptance testing to confirm software requirements, to ensure quality and to maintain and enhance system integrity.
Key responsibilities
- Execute Front-end and Back-end systems testing across environments, working with developers to resolve bugs and discrepancies
- Responsible for UI and API automation testing using tools like Cypress and Postman in both CI/CD pipeline and post deployment
- Analyse software requirements and create comprehensive and effective test plans, scripts and test data to confirm requirements and system integrity
- Work closely with Developers, DevOps and Professional Services to clarify requirements, identify issues, mitigate risk and coordinate user acceptance testing and sign off
- Step beyond automation and analyse complex scenarios, appraise UX consistency issues and identify gaps in process and procedure
- Monitor pipeline test results, debug failures quickly, and manage test data to prevent false positives
- Work as a member of a team which has responsibility for QA and testing procedures
About you
- 5+ years of software testing / quality assurance experience across web-based environments, preferably within payroll, superannuation, eInvoicing or a similar regulated industry
- Proven experience with Cypress and Postman for API testing or an equivalent automated test framework
- Familiar with source control management tools such as GitLab / GitHub
- Attention to detail, analytical with problem-solving skills and a clear communicator
- Experience working independently and as a part of a remote team in an agile development environment with significant work from home
