Senior Test Analyst

Salary: Salary range $110k-$125k depending on exp.

We're working with a Wellington-based technology company with a strong international presence. Their platform is used daily by customers across multiple markets, and they continue to invest in both their technology and their people.

As a Senior Test Analyst, you'll take a leading role in the quality of software across the full application lifecycle. That covers planning and running testing strategies for user stories, building and maintaining automated regression tests, and taking responsibility for software running in Production and Pre-Production against agreed SLAs. You'll work across the whole tech stack, from SQL database changes through to front-end automation, and act as a point of expertise on QA practice and tooling for the wider team.

The role gives you exposure across a modern testing and technology stack including:

• Cypress or Playwright
• JavaScript and TypeScript

• Authenticated API testing
• CI/CD pipelines

• GitHub

We're looking for someone with solid experience in test automation who can plan their own work, dig into complex problems, and set a high standard for quality. You'll be comfortable giving and receiving feedback, sharing what you know with less experienced testers, and helping shape how the team works. Experience testing web applications and authenticated APIs in an Agile environment will set you up well.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Wellington. The team works a hybrid arrangement of three days in the office and two from home, in a genuinely good working environment that values learning, collaboration and work-life balance.
