Schedule Redevelopment Project

We're looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to play a key role in the redevelopment of a business-critical digital product. This is an opportunity to shape quality from the ground up within a modern, agile delivery environment, working alongside project managers, business analysts, data specialists, developers, architects, and business stakeholders.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both leading testing activities and actively contributing to delivery. You'll be responsible for defining and executing a practical testing approach that embeds quality throughout the development lifecycle, rather than treating it as a final-stage activity. You’ll be collaborating with developers and business analysts to identify gaps and ensure the quality of a variety of offerings that the NZ healthcare sector relies on!

What you'll be doing

  • Defining and evolving the testing approach for an iterative redevelopment programme.
  • Analysing requirements, user stories, and solution designs to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
  • Executing system, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
  • Designing and maintaining a sustainable regression test suite.
  • Managing defects through to resolution and providing clear quality assessments for release decisions.
  • Working closely with delivery teams to ensure quality considerations are incorporated into solution design.
  • Supporting automation initiatives and contributing to testing practices aligned with CI/CD delivery pipelines.
  • Using modern AI and LLM-based tools to accelerate the creation of test plans, test suites, and test cases where appropriate.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Significant experience in software testing within agile delivery environments.
  • Strong test analysis, test design, and exploratory testing skills.
  • Experience developing and maintaining regression test frameworks.
  • Practical knowledge of defect management tools and delivery platforms such as Jira/Xray.
  • Experience working closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate risks, trade-offs, and quality outcomes.
  • Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

This role will suit a collaborative, pragmatic testing professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving delivery quality, and helping multidisciplinary teams deliver successful outcomes.
