Job Title: Senior Test Automation Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-grade automation frameworks across web, API, and SAP application landscapes. The ideal candidate should have deep hands-on knowledge of Robot Framework with Python, Playwright with JavaScript, and exposure to multiple testing tools and frameworks.

The role also requires customer-facing communication skills, leadership capability, and experience mentoring QA engineers while driving automation best practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation & Framework Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using:
• Robot Framework with Python
• Playwright with JavaScript / TypeScript
• Develop automated test suites for:
• UI / Frontend testing
• API and service validation
• Regression and smoke testing
• End-to-end business workflow validation
• Performance / Load Testing
• SAP GUI transactions
• SAP Fiori / Web GUI
• Functional use cases
• Create reusable libraries, keywords, and utility modules to improve framework efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines such as:
• GitHub Actions
• Azure DevOps
• GitLab CI

Defect & Test Management

• JIRA
• ServiceNow

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary customer-facing QA lead
• Participate in client calls, test strategy reviews, and quality discussions
• Present automation status, coverage, defect metrics, and risk reports
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders

Mentorship & Leadership

• Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers
• Conduct framework reviews and code quality assessments
• Define best practices and standards
• Lead test planning and sprint QA activities

Required Experience

• 5+ years in QA / Test Automation
• 3+ years in senior or lead automation roles
• Experience in enterprise application testing
• Strong stakeholder communication skills

Preferred Domain Experience

• SAP enterprise applications
• Cloud and web applications
• Agile / DevOps delivery environments
