Senior Test Automation Engineer – Commodities Trading Domain

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Typescript and Playwright. The ideal candidate will possess over 6 years of experience in both technologies, alongside a proven ability to manage risk-based testing strategies and collaborate in fast-paced Agile environments. The role demands more than just Playwright test automation; it requires substantial knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (TypeScript).
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Perform manual testing for complex scenarios and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure risk-based prioritization of testing activities.
• Apply Agile principles in daily workflows.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools for code generation and test optimization.
• Debug and fix code issues across automation and application layers.
• Ensure test coverage for network components and relational databases.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders in clear, professional English.

Key Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in Playwright and TypeScript (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices.
• Familiarity with network fundamentals and relational databases.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in commodities trading (Gas/Oil Futures) and related financial instruments.
• Intermediate level skills in Python.
• Experience with tools such as ADO, Visual Studio, and GitHub Copilot.
• Knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and JIRA.
