Senior Test Automation Engineer - Data Warehouse/Data Lake

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer for an assignment within one of our client's agile trains, focused on integration, validation, and automation of testing within a Data Warehouse/Data Lake environment.

You will take on a key role in the integration and quality assurance of both new and existing data flows, working operationally and tactically to increase the level of automation within the agile train. You will act as a test specialist and driver for automated testing across multiple levels.

Platform: Data Warehouse / Data Lake
Database: Oracle
Programming: Python & SQL

• Integration and validation of new data sources
• Data modeling and validation in a Data Vault environment
• Quality assurance of existing data flows and their integrations
• Review of requirements and technical specifications
• Generation and management of necessary test data
• Automation of regression tests
• Building automated reporting of test results from automated tests

Requirements

• Documented experience in test automation within Data Warehouse/Data Lake environments
• Strong knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and Python
• Experience with data modeling, preferably Data Vault
• Experience with integration and quality assurance of data flows
• Experience with automated testing, regression testing, and technical testing
• Experience working in agile teams
• Ability to work both tactically and operationally with test automation
• Strong communication skills and a contributor to a learning culture
• Experience using version control systems such as Git to manage codebases and test scripts
• Knowledge and experience generating mocks and test data
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken

Nice to Have

• Experience with reporting automation for test results
