We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test
Automation Engineer to lead and support a project that will help sustain a
command-and-control system for the Mobility Air Force. As a part of a cross-functional
team, your work will support the effectiveness of several communities of
active-duty and civilian users. You will develop and deploy automated User
Interface tests that execute as part of CI/CD pipelines and either pass or fail
automated deployments. Your work will ensure all new features work as expected
and a that existing features continue to work for users as normal.
This is a hybrid role, requiring one day per week on site at Scott Air Force Base
What you will do
• Review automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure quality, maintainability, and alignment with established automation standards and testing objectives.
• Review and manage the backlog of development and automation tasks, aligning assignments with individual team members’ skill sets and strengths
• Monitor cloud migration activities to anticipate and plan for testing support (e.g., replication testing), and support cloud testing efforts as needed
• Validate that test scripts function correctly and perform required verifications
• Maintain/update documentation of the automated testing solution and suite, including a list of test scripts released to the government
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing requirements are clearly defined and implemented
• Assign and oversee progress of CR/CCB development tasks across team members
• Attend meetings to stay abreast of needs, direction, and priorities related to the project

• Expertise in testing, test automation, automated test execution and reporting, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• A passion for automation: automating Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Load Testing, and User Acceptance testing
• Ability to deliver releasable automated tests and code every sprint
• You know when to power through a problem, or stop and collaborate with others to find a better way
