Project

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer / QA Lead to join a large-scale migration programme for a leading Nordic bank, involving multiple application and infrastructure workstreams.
The role focuses on building a robust test automation framework (Robot Framework) and leading end-to-end testing strategy across migration waves, ensuring high quality and smooth transitions into target environments. You will work closely with technical, business, and service teams to coordinate testing activities and ensure readiness before and after migration.

Responsibilities you'll have

• Define, prepare, and own the end-to-end test strategy and test plans for the migration programme

• Create and maintain a test framework supporting pre-requisites before migration and post-migration verification

• Coordinate testing activities across application teams, service areas, and programme workstreams

• Lead and coordinate testing during migration cutover across all application testing teams

• Analyse requirements and ensure proper functional and non-functional test coverage

• Oversee test case design, preparation, execution, and quality assurance of test artefacts

• Track and report on test progress, defects, and quality metrics

• Manage testing risks, dependencies, and support defect triage with development and infrastructure teams

Expected competences and knowledge

• Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer or QA Lead on complex programmes

• Strong experience in test automation, including Robot Framework

• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills across business and technical teams

• Ability to manage testing across multiple teams and parallel workstreams

• Experience in test tracking, reporting, and quality metrics

• Understanding of testing practices in complex migration environments

Nice to have

• Knowledge of VMWare environments

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other public cloud platforms

• Experience testing infrastructure, platform, or cloud-based solutions

• Familiarity with automation strategies and tools in a migration context
