We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join a project delivered in cooperation with a global organization operating in the medical and life sciences domain. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests, ensuring software quality, and supporting CI/CD processes within an Agile/Scrum environment.
You will work with modern Java-based testing tools and contribute to solutions developed in a highly regulated environment, where quality and reliability are key. Your tasks
Developing and maintaining automated tests to ensure software quality
Designing and implementing test strategies for UI and API testing
Collaborating with the development team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline
Analyzing test results and identifying areas for improvement
Creating and maintaining technical documentation related to testing processes
Mentoring junior team members in best practices for test automation
Staying up-to-date with the latest trends in test automation and software quality assurance
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation with Java
Proven experience with UI automation testing tools or frameworks, preferably TestFX
Hands-on experience with build tools such as Gradle and/or Maven
Solid understanding of API testing methodologies
Advanced level of Polish and English
Nice-to-have requirements
Experience with AI-supported testing tools
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
Knowledge of task and test management tools such as JIRA, Xray, TestRail, or Zephyr
Experience in regulated environments, particularly in the medical industry
Familiarity with IEC 62304 standards for medical software lifecycle
