Senior test automation engineer designing and building Python-based automated UI and API tests for a US broadcasting/OTT media client. Day-to-day includes creating test documentation, managing test datasets, troubleshooting framework/CI issues, and running regression tests using Jenkins and Git.

Our Client is the leader of the US Broadcasting Market and one of the biggest companies on that is providing Broadcasting Media Entertainment to users on OTT.
Project scope implies automating of the UI Tools and APIs.
Job Description
Over 4 years of developing test automation solutions
Strong experience in Python is required
Advanced knowledge of Web Browsers (Browser developer tools and consoled interface)
Advanced knowledge Restful service call (HTTP, JSON)
Experience with API level verification
Solid experience in developing test cases, end-end tests for Web application testing
Experience with Jenkins, Git
Excellent understanding of QA and Test Automation Methodology
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of AWS and cloud systems would be a plus
Job Responsibilities
Design and build automated tests
Create test documentation
Manage test datasets to make automated tests reproducible
Work closely with customers to understand their needs and help with end-customer-faced issues
Troubleshoot - framework/CI/env issues and fix them
Execute manual or automated tests & regression tests, analyzing results, reporting bugs, etc.
Work closely with team to understand what they are developing to provide quality suggestions and to develop test plans
