Senior Test Automation Team Lead (Python)

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Team Lead to define and lead end-to-end test automation for Zultys product development across web services, mobile apps, desktop apps, and IP telephony. This role combines hands-on framework development in Python with team leadership, automation strategy, and quality ownership across the delivery lifecycle.
Experience Level
7+ years of professional experience in QA/Software Testing
4+ years of hands-on test automation experience with Python
2+ years of experience leading QA automation engineers or cross-functional quality initiatives
What You'll Do
Define and execute the test automation strategy across API, UI, integration, E2E, regression, and non-functional testing
Architect, build, and maintain scalable Python-based automation frameworks
Lead automation for web services and backend APIs, mobile applications (Android/iOS), desktop applications
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) with quality gates and release criteria
Establish best practices for test design, coding standards, flaky test reduction, and reliable reporting
Mentor and coach automation engineers; perform code reviews and technical guidance
Drive defect triage, root-cause trends, and continuous quality improvements
What We're Looking For
Strong hands-on Python experience for automation frameworks and tooling
Deep experience with API automation (REST/WebSocket), UI automation, and E2E orchestration
Practical experience with mobile automation tools (e.g., Appium) and desktop test automation
CI/CD expertise with GitHub Actions and Jenkins
Strong knowledge of test architecture, risk-based testing, and quality metrics
Strong Linux, networking, and troubleshooting skills
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
