Senior Test Engineer (Manual) | WFH
Job Description
Key Customers (Internal): Customer Success team, Engineering team, Product team
Purpose: Make a strong contribution to the quality of the product by designing and executing test cases for manual, regression, and exploratory testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate frequent release cycles through continual test activities, including execution of regression test suites, testing new features and bug fixes.
- Effectively report new defects in Jira, escalating where necessary.
- Review and analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional testing, Regression testing, Smoke/sanity testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Exploratory testing, cross-browser testing, and responsive testing
- Engage with the agile team by active participation in daily stand-up meetings.
- Liaise with the Customer Support team to identify and report opportunities for improvement.

- Demonstrates a strong understanding of basic test principles, test coverage, smoke/regression testing, E2E testing.
- Collaborates on enhancing the quality assurance process that covers manual, regression, and exploratory test models.
- Researches techniques for expanding test coverage to assist with scaling our quality assurance practices.
