Senior Test Manager

Festina Finance develops modern, high‑performance pension and banking solutions used by major pension funds in Denmark and the Netherlands and more than 30 banks across Scandinavia and the UK.

We are looking for a Test Manager with strong domain insight and the ability to lead structured, high‑quality test processes together with our customers.

About the Role

You lead test activities across customer deliveries. While Festina’s delivery teams implement and update the tests, you are responsible for:

• driving the test dialogue with customers
• explaining and aligning test strategy and scope at multiple levels, including management and board level
• guiding customers in structuring and executing their test efforts
• ensuring test cases reflect correct business logic and event flows
• helping customers understand system behaviour and pension calculations

You collaborate closely with customer test managers, domain specialists, team leads, developers, and product owners to ensure new functionality meets business and regulatory requirements.

What You Will Do

• Act as the customer’s primary test counterpart, aligning strategy, scope, responsibilities, and expectations
• Support test design, execution, and validation of processes, product models, events, and system behaviour
• Validate business and calculation logic, data flows, integrations, and regression scenarios
• Contribute to documentation and improvements to automated test suites
• Participate in refinement, planning, and release activities to ensure test readiness

What you will work with

You will test core pension events such as retirement, contributions, transfers, disability, and death, and work with products including with‑profits, unit‑linked, lifecycle, annuity, and risk products.

Your work spans test planning, logic validation, regression and event‑flow testing, data and integration checks, and supporting automated regression suites from a test leadership perspective.

What You Bring

• Experience as a Test Manager, Test Lead, or Senior Tester, ideally within life and pension or financial systems
• Strong understanding of pension products, events, or administrative systems
• Ability to discuss test strategy and quality with customer specialists and leadership
• Experience with structured test methods such as ISTQB or Agile testing
• Ability to understand and validate complex business logic
• Experience with or interest in automated testing
• Clear communication skills and the ability to simplify complexity
• A proactive mindset and strong quality focus
