The Lazy CEO Podcast, focuses on entrepreneurship, business growth, mindset, and personal development. Jane interviews founders, industry leaders, and experts about how they built successful brands, while also sharing honest insights into leadership, scaling a business, and balancing ambition with life.

The Position

Jane Lu aka The Lazy CEO is entering a new stage of growth, and TikTok is where that growth lives. This role is about owning Jane's TikTok presence end-to-end, pulling raw material out of her world, her day-to-day running Showpo, her opinions, her wins and her failures, and turning it into videos that stops the scroll.

You need to be genuinely native to the platform, not someone who studies it from the outside. You already know what's trending, what sounds are about to break, and how to speak to a millennial audience.

We want someone who can shoot, edit and post at a high, consistent volume, and who treats personality and storytelling as the core of the strategy, with trends used to sharpen it, not replace it.

• Shoot and edit a high, consistent volume of TikTok content, blending fast native edits (text overlays, trending sounds, quick cuts) with the polish that keeps Jane's brand credible.

• Bring a strong storytelling eye to every piece of content: personality and narrative first, trends second.

• Be the first to know what's trending, what sounds are about to break, and what formats are working, and get Jane's content onto them before they peak, not after.

• Build and manage the TikTok content calendar, balancing personality and storytelling-led content with trend and sound-driven content.

• Own posting, captions, hashtags and community engagement on TikTok, replying to comments in Jane's voice and spotting what's resonating in real time.

• Work closely with Jane to mine content ideas from her day-to-day, pitching hooks, angles and formats she wouldn't necessarily think of herself.

• 3+ years experience creating and/or managing content for TikTok, ideally for a founder, creator or personal brand, not just a company page.

• Genuinely native to the platform: TikTok is the first app you open and the last one you close, and you know what's trending before your friends send it to you. It's what you eat and breathe.

• A strong editor across CapCut, Premiere Pro or similar

• A sharp read on how to speak to a millennial audience: tone, language, humour, cultural references, the lot.

• Proven ability to turn raw, unscripted material into viral content.

• A genuine student of Jane's story and The Lazy CEO brand (or someone who can become one fast), able to write and post in her voice from day one.
