(Senior) Transaction Analyst Real Estate (m/f/d) (Business-Analyst/in)

We are looking for a (Senior) Analyst to join our Transactions Team inBerlin. In this hands-on investment role, you will supportacquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures across office, hotel,residential/BTR, logistics, and development assets. Working closelywith Senior Transaction Managers and the Co-Head of Transactions, youwill be involved in underwriting, financial modelling, due diligence,transaction execution, and investment analysis across Germany andselected international markets. Location: Berlin Your TasksTransaction Execution & Management Support the full deal lifecycle onacquisitions and disposals across Germany and international markets,covering office, hotel, residential, logistics, and developmentassets. Prepare financial models, DCF analyses, and business plans forstanding assets and development projects; stress-test assumptions andevaluate investment scenarios. Draft or assist with drafting andreviewing Letters of Intent (LOIs), term sheets, and other transactiondocuments. Coordinate and manage due diligence workstreams, includingdata room management, adviser coordination, and cross-departmentalcommunication. Support signing and closing management, including CPtracking and condition satisfaction. Investment Analysis &Underwriting Screen, evaluate, and underwrite incoming acquisitionopportunities across target asset classes and geographies. Prepareinvestment memoranda, board presentations, and transaction approvaldocuments that clearly communicate financial metrics, investmentthesis, and risk/return profile. Develop and maintain financial models(Excel-based) for both stabilized assets and value-add/developmentopportunities; produce key metric summaries. Conduct in-depthfeasibility analysis for repositioning, conversion, and developmentscenarios. Market Research & Deal Origination Conduct comprehensivemarket research on target real estate sub-markets, includingsupply/demand dynamics, rental trends, yield movements, andcompetitive landscape. Build and maintain deal flow tracking tools andacquisition pipeline databases (CRM). (Support) Deal-sourcing effortsthrough broker engagement, market intelligence, and investmentscreening. Participate in meetings with brokers, institutionalinvestors, JV partners, and other stakeholders. Your Profile Education& Experience Degree in Business Administration, Real EstateManagement, Finance, Economics, or Engineering; MRICS/master's-levelqualification is a plus. At least two years of professional experiencein real estate investment, private equity (real estate), M&A, assetmanagement, valuation, or brokerage. Track record of financialmodelling and investment analysis across European real estate markets;experience with development projects is an advantage. Technical SkillsAdvanced Excel skills, including dynamic financial models, DCF / IRRanalysis, and scenario modelling — proficiency is non-negotiable.Strong PowerPoint skills; ability to produce clear, concise investmentpresentations and board materials. Hands-on experience with AI tools(e.g., large language models, AI-assisted research, promptengineering) and/or CRM/deal management platforms is a strongadvantage. Familiarity with data room platforms (e.g., Drooms,Intralinks, Datasite) is a plus. Competencies & Personal ProfileStrong quantitative and analytical thinking — able to cut throughcomplexity and build conviction on investment cases. Self-starter withhigh initiative, ownership mentality, and the ability to managemultiple work streams simultaneously in a fast-paced deal environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills — ability topresent financial analysis and investment logic concisely to seniorstakeholders. Languages:Excellent English (written and spoken) required; fluent German is astrong plus and highly preferred for the German market.
