Summary

Senior program manager at Schneider Electric in Barcelona leading the end-to-end global SAP S/4HANA transformation — coordinating business-process, data, IT, change and training workstreams across countries, owning scope, budget, risks, Go-Live readiness, and the transition into stable operations.

About the role Schneider Electric is undergoing a major global business transformation to simplify and harmonize the way we work across countries, functions, and systems. As Senior Transformation Program Manager, you will lead the end-to-end implementation of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation across multiple businesses and countries. You will bring together business, process, data, IT, change, and training teams to ensure a successful implementation and adoption. This is a highly visible role for an experienced transformation leader who combines strong program management with business and ERP understanding and is comfortable navigating complex, international stakeholder environments. What will you do? Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex SAP S/4HANA transformation, coordinating multiple workstreams across business processes, technology, data, change management, training, and deployment. Coordinate cross-functional and international teams, ensuring alignment between business leaders, process owners, technical experts, and local implementation teams. Drive the implementation and adoption of standardized processes and solutions, challenging unnecessary customization and ensuring issues and dependencies are resolved effectively. Manage program scope, budget, resources, milestones, risks, and dependencies, taking corrective action when needed to keep delivery on track. Lead program governance and senior stakeholder communication, providing clear visibility of progress, risks, decisions, and priorities. Manage deployment and Go-Live readiness, ensuring business continuity and minimizing disruption to customers and operations. Ensure a structured transition from implementation into stable business operations, including clear ownership and appropriate post-Go-Live support. Promote strong project and change management disciplines across the program and contribute to continuous improvement of the transformation approach. What will make you successful? 8+ years of experience in program/project management, business transformation, ERP implementation, or a comparable environment. Proven experience leading large, complex transformation programs involving multiple countries, functions, and workstreams. Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP transformations. Knowledge of SAP Public Cloud would be an advantage. Good understanding of business processes such as order-to-cash, project execution, supply chain, operations, or customer delivery. Demonstrated ability to manage scope, budgets, resources, timelines, dependencies, and program risks. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without necessarily having direct reporting authority. Experience managing deployment, Go-Live, stabilization, and transition into operational support. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex transformation topics into clear priorities and decisions. Comfortable working in a fast-moving and evolving environment, where not everything is defined from the outset. Fluent English and willingness to travel internationally for up to approximately one week per month.
