We are looking for a Senior Transversal Epic Delivery Owner (EDO – Project Manager) who engages with stakeholders and orchestrates the end-to-end delivery of complex, transversal IT initiatives across and beyond our Tribe. This role is critical to ensure alignment, governance, and execution of large-scale, multi-domain projects.
The first assignment for this position will be within the Data Centre Modernisation (DCM) Program, aiming to implement the new Data Centres strategy for Euroclear, to increase Business Resiliency.
About the Team:
As part of Euroclear's Group Technology Services (GTS) division, you will join the Network and Data Centres Systems (NDC) Tribe. This tribe is responsible for leading all aspects of Network Engineering and Data Centres capabilities.
You will specifically join the NDC Orchestration and Enablement Team, which provides transversal services to the tribe, including: Project and Programme Management, Release Management and Testing Strategy & Coordination.
About the Role:
As a Senior Transversal EDO, you will have the responsibility to coordinate and lead complex Epics across multiple domains, ensuring end-to-end delivery while driving alignment across engineering teams, security, operations, and business stakeholders. These Epics span modern technologies such as network engineering, data centre infrastructure, backup and recovery solutions, cloud integrations, and hybrid environments, as well as regulatory and resilience programmes.
You will also play a key role in ensuring governance, consistency, and delivery excellence across the full lifecycle.
About the Programme : context – DCM (Data Centre Modernisation)
You will contribute to a strategic programme aiming to redefine Euroclear’s Data Centre strategy, enhancing resiliency, scalability, and regulatory compliance. The programme involves multiple Epics to be coordinated across several divisions, requiring strong transversal orchestration and leadership .
The core Responsibilities of the function
Epic Delivery Management
- End-to-end coordination for Epic delivery (scope, time, budget, quality)
- Drive execution in alignment with System Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC - requirements/design/test/launch lifecycle) and adhering to the relevant IT controls (ensuring timely delivery of project-related documents, for instance).
Governance and Compliance Management
- Ensure full compliance with SDLC and IT control frameworks (Methodology, documentation, approvals)
- Prepare and validate all mandatory deliverables (investment request, design documents, test evidence, closure reports)
- Support audits and regulatory requirements (e.g., resiliency, security, NIS2/DORA context)
Transversal Leadership and Dependency Management
- Work in close collaboration with the core programme team to ensure the successful execution of this strategic initiative
- Coordinate multiple squads and domains stakeholders (Network, Data Centres, Security, Platforms, Operations…)
- Ensure alignment of dependencies across Epics, releases, and with other programs / initiatives
Stakeholders Management
- Engage with senior stakeholders (Tribe Leads, Business Owners, Architects, Risk & Security)
- Structure and lead SteerCo (transversal), governance boards, and executive reporting
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable status updates (RAG status, risks, decisions required)
Financial and Value Management
- Define and manage Epic investment (budget, cost tracking, forecasts)
- Ensure cost vs. value optimization across program lifecycle
Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues with Project Teams
- Drive proactive escalation and mitigation plans
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong experience in project/programme management in complex IT environments
Proven ability to manage large-scale, transversal initiatives
Strong understanding of IT controls (ITIL/COBIT), governance frameworks, and financial framework
Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments
Solid knowledge of infrastructure technologies (network, data centres, cloud…)
Tools & Frameworks:
- Azure DevOps (Boards)
- ServiceNow (Project, Risk, Resource Management modules)
Soft Skills:
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Excellent ability to effectively manage and build relationships with individuals in diverse locations worldwide (remote management).
- Ability to influence, align, and lead without direct authority
- Strong analytical, risk management, and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate in a highly complex, fast-paced, and global environment
- Familiarity with ITIL and certification in project management is advantageous.
Educational Requirements:
- Degree: Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a similar field is a big plus
Office Presence requirement : must be ready to come on-site in Euroclear Brussels office 8 days (EIGHT DAYS) per month or when needed for specific meetings or workshops.
